Two very special friends tied the knot recently.
Shannon and Don are real life fisherman, who risk everything every Spring to bring back the most tasty Alaskan Salmon we’ve ever enjoyed. I met her at the Renton Farmers Market when we lived in the Seattle area, and liked her instantly. Knowing her background (as well as enjoying her fish products…mmmm!) I was honored to photograph the day she marries her First Mate, Don Ward. They’ve been through some adventures!
The wedding came together with the help of many market friends and musicians, with Shannon and Don’s salmon as the dinner centerpiece. There was bagpipe and drum, fiddle and song. And they were surrounded by friends. What more could you ask for?
