I had the extreme pleasure recently of photographing Molly & Dan’s wedding in one of my favorite places on earth: Yosemite National Park! The couple had spent a lot of time in this park as kids before they met. So it was a fitting place to choose for a destination wedding.
The ceremony took place at the Ahwanee Hotel on the lawn with the reception which followed inside one of the dining rooms. It is such a romantic place! This took place over President’s Day weekend and the park was packed with visitors. As you can see, there was no snow except for the higher elevations. They were such a wonderful pair to work with. They had some fun friends, too, with a toast involving a pair of swim trunks! After the wedding, I managed to get on one or two night photos of the Valley before turning in. I didn’t stay out long on account of the wild critters wondering around looking for an easy snack.
