There were many images I couldn’t upload until I got home. Here are a few.
The city of Freeport and the airport is separated by a wide bay that is very long. You can see the other side in the distance. It would take a day to drive. There are three ways to get across this bay:
Ferry: ride with everyone and everything – livestock notwithstanding.
Helicopter: recently grounded (one crashed just weeks prior, with fatal consequences…)
Hovercraft: the best of both worlds. Pricey, but you get to float right up onto the beach :-). And the captain is British.
