Mt. Hood from the east fork of the White River
Today was insanely sunny and Eric had the day off. Se we went cross country skiing up on the east side of Mt. Hood at Cooper’s Spur Lodge. The driving conditions were great, the temps were just right. We had a nice time being the only ones on the trails, where we enjoyed the peace of the outdoors. When we finished, we drove over to the Timberline Lodge, which is on the west side of the mountain. On the way there, we saw this. I climbed up onto a snowy bank to get this shot. The river is just at the edge of this field.
