Last Saturday found me at the Athenaeum at Cal Tech in Pasadena photographing Laura & Mark’s wedding. Again, the weather was great. I love this place because of the wonderful architecture. Laura and Mark really like it, too. She said that it was a shame to cover up it up with stuff like so many others do. She chose to keep it clean & simple.
I was most touched by her speech to the guests about her Mark. She talked about his thoughtfulness – even how he anticipates her needs even when she’s in a hurry. Just the simple fact of knowing that she gets rushed and doesn’t have m0ney and is starving, he saves her by telling her that he’s stashed money and food in her car! I really took that to heart. I always look to get something out of a wedding besides the images. Thanks Laura and Mark! And thanks to Michael for making it possible for me to be there.
