I predict an awesome wildflower season!
Knowing that we here in SoCal have been getting great rain this winter, I have been keeping my eyes open for any hint that prediction would come true. So I started checking my info source at Desert USA and it’s official: spring has sprung!
Since I’m on the JTNP Art Commitee, I had to go to ’29 to drop off the postcards and posters. So I just tied in a trip to do some shooting. I picked up my friend Paul Martini (he lives just outside the park and does really great photo work himself!).

That’s pollen on Paul’s boots! The scent of the flowers was almost overpowering.
The weather was just georgous, the air was clean, and it was not breezy at all.
