Salmonberry, Tiger Mountain State Park, WA.
I went on a really hard hike today around Tiger Mountain with a friend. Meant to go to the top, but got onto the wrong trail. It didn’t matter though. We had a very nice time. On our way down, I spotted this excellent specimen of a berry. It was PERFECT in shape, symmetry and color. No, I didn’t eat it. Salmonberries are not that sweet, but they are beautiful.
