Tree Row, Leavenworth WA. Shot with Android phone.
We’re still in vacay mode. Eric, Joslyn and I went snowshoeing (Eric brought his nordic skis, so did that). We stopped at two locations. The first one was just off Hwy 2, nearly to Leavenworth. It looked promising, but was uphill most of the way. And it was raining.
So we went to a different location near town that was so much better. And it was snowing. Big fluffy flakes fell for the rest of the day and into the evening. The snow activities were fun! Saw a couple of bald eagles, some deer, and beautiful landscapes covered in fresh powder. The ride back – not so much: a jackknifed truck, falling tempuratures with snow and rain made for a very tense drive home.
The pixilated texture of this photo works for me. It’s big and gloppy, like the snow that was falling.
