How I spent the first day of Fall:
Getting up before dawn.
Meeting new photographer friends in a parking lot in Clackamas.
Driving to Mt. Hood National Park.
Hiking 4 miles to see Ramona Falls.
Making photos of colorful mushrooms
Making waterfall photos.
Walking in the rain.
Feeling the drip-drop of water soaking through my hiking pants.
Finding an alternate way across the Sandy River because the seasonal bridge was removed without notice while we were on the other side.
Feeling more comfortable in dry clothes in the car ride back.
Enjoying a nice bowl of soup and flowers when I got home.
Not too shabby.
