Forest dwellers, Oaks Bottom Park, Milwaukie OR

These are shelf mushrooms or Ganoderma applanatum or Artist’s Conk (people like to use the underside as a canvas). You can read about it here. We went for a short walk at this park that hugs the Willamette River. We saw a few birds and enjoyed the forest smells.
