Although not the first wedding I’ve done up here in the northwest, it was definitely the the most glamorous! It was at the Hotel Deluxe, downtown Portland. I HIGHLY recommend that if you decide to stay downtown, stay here. They have a “Make it So” button on their phones!
Sara, the bride, could easily double for Kim Basinger. She actually lives in SoCal but her parents and his family live up in Oregon. She is gorgeous, don’t you think? Her dress was to die for. And all of their friends were so great!
Anyway, we had a great time. It rained during the reception for a minute (of course! Out of the three Northwest weddings I’ve shot only one didn’t have rain, and both of those had outside receptions! ) Lorita, who was here for a family event, even came downtown to visit me. She helped me get this wedding 🙂 so it was nice that I could give her some wedding cake.
