Another Fall day walk through the neighborhood.
The top image is of one of Portland’s many water collection filteration systems. By collecting the run-off in these low areas, it slows the water down enough as it drains though the ground to get rid of a lot of toxins.
A gorgeous oak and the beautiful leaves. They were large and pliable. I saw this a half a block away and came back to really appreciate it. Another admirer told me how much he loved this tree as well.
