Cherry Blossoms along Tom McCall Waterfront, Portland OR

I had a meeting downtown. As I was driving east back over the Burnside Bridge I noticed the cherry trees along the waterfront had a tinge more pink than a couple of days ago. I could come back tomorrow or Friday, I thought to myself. But then I remembered the Golden Photo Rule: Tomorrow never comes. So, 15 minutes later (it was the start of rush hour), I was back in the west side of the river.

I played around with some other angles, and even made a portrait. The light pink tree graced me with its lovely scent as I worked.
