Trillium, Forest Park, Oregon
Ever since we moved to the Northwest, Eric and I make it a point to take a walk in the woods to find one of our favorite flowers: trillium (Also it’s St. Patrick’s Day so instead of wearing green, we decided to walk in it). The window to find them is pretty narrow because they have to bloom after the frost but before the forest canopy fills in. Our timing was perfect.
