Laura & Edward tie the knot!

Last Saturday, I spent the day with Laura & Edward. When we met for our consultation at Edward’s mother house, his mother Christina said that she thought he should have lived in the ’30’s. They spoke about his having a top hat at a very young age. That he favors this style of dress is common knowledge (Even at the wedding, one of the guests talked about how easily Edward could tie a bowtie – how many people can do that?). I was thrilled that I would have a very stylish groom, a rare event, to say the least.

Appropriately, the ceremony was held at The Church Of The Angels, a very old stone church in Pasadena. It has beautiful gothic wooden arches and has been used in lots of tv shows.

Laura was happy all day! Mike, her “Big Brother” walked her down the aisle. As I was going throught the images I saw a sequence of images that show her right before she came into the church. Her face showed a little anxiety, then she looked up at Mike as if to say “Thanks for being here”. And as she came through the door, I saw a great big smile spread across her face when she saw Edward at the alter. It was one of those moments that make me glad I do what I do.

Thanks for such a wonderful day!
