Kate is one of the few people that I’ve met since moving up here and it seems like so much longer than the six months we’ve been friends. She too, is also not from Seattle and we connected pretty quickly once we met. Kate is a entrepreneur/small business owner and does lots of really great work for her clients. She mentioned that she was dating this guy Dave and had been for a while. That was back in October. Fast forward to now, he’s since popped the question (to which she said Yes!), they’ve relocated, and they are deep into wedding planning (take note of the gorgeous ring he surprised her with!)
Some Very Important Members of the household are her (now their) long-haired Dachshunds. They started out with two, but they recently added a third – a puppy!!! Three dogs are fun and unpredictable, each of them having COMPLETELY different personalities.
The engagement session was set up as a dog walking afternoon, and good for us, the fickle spring weather was on our side. There were lots of other dogs on the walk and the two boy dogs made sure that NO ONE was gonna hurt Kate & Dave.
Here are some of the highlights.

The puppy!!!! Not easy to get him to be still…
Standing watch. We were buddies, honest! Bud just wanted his own portrait, which I did for him later.
Thanks guys! I had a blast and I’m getting excited for your big day!!!!
