Multnomah Falls Snow Day
Due to the weather, my portrait sessions were cancelled. Overnight, our part of town got about 4 inches of snow. So since I have an all wheel drive vehicle and chains we set out to find images. First. we went to downtown Portland. But the there was hardly any snow. So we b-lined it for The Gorge to Multnomah Falls.
The roads were a bit of a mess, but we managed to make it out. We did stop to put on the chains, more for piece of mind than actual need.
I had seen pictures of the Falls with snow. I knew that today would be my best chance to capture this. I was there along with a dozen or so other photographers. It seems us diehards will risk anything to get a great image! On our way back, we stopped at Rooster Rock Park so Eric could do a little skiing. It was pretty cold and windy!
Enough words, here are some pictures.
You can see how much snow there was on the path!
