The guy who sells these doesn’t condone the practice of foraging for commercial gain. In his opinion, it’s OK for a few people who are perhaps hobbyists or wanting to feed a family. But the commercial foragers trample delicate ecosystems and take ALL of what they find, leaving little or none for other species that might benefit from the fungus. He does not forage, and grows all his mushrooms.
