| Friday afternoon, Downtown Portland. This Caddy and the snow reminded me of Detroit. |
We had two days of dry, fluffy snow, the kind that crunches softly when you walk in it. It pretty much shut the city down. People were stuck in traffic for hours. The road conditions were pretty bad. Yesterday the snowfall turned to rain, which froze and covered every surface with ice. Hard to walk on much less drive. Since Eric’s Saturday hockey game was cancelled due to “ICE”, he went outside today anyway. It was melting fast.
