Amaryllis, at The Meadow, Portland OR
Occasionally, I pop over to this store for a very special treat. The place is called The Meadow, a gourmet salt, chocolate, wine and flower shop located on our street. After I picked up our cacao ‘supply’ (we’re keen in this bar right now), I made this image.
That’s right. I’ve fully gone over the edge with dark chocolate. Anything less than 74% seems too sweet. I even eat just the roasted bean, cracking the thin inner shell with my fingers and picking out the crunchy nibs! This place has lots of choices, and the staff knows how to recommend to your palate.
