As I drove through town today under sunny skies, clouds of cherry blossoms greeted me.
I was curious about the varieties and the tree’s origin. So I found a nice resource here. Which lead me to an article on “How to do hanami” (flower viewing). Since Japan and it’s plight have been in the news for a while now, I thought it fitting to pay homage to a Japanese pastime. Since I read the article, I am interested in doing my own hanami. Weather permitting, of course.
