This was a tough day to make a selection. I was invited to a wine tasting by a friend. Lo and behold there was also amazing food.
I love to shoot food.
And the kitchen was incredible. A recent remodel, the owners had some RAD customizations done: A spigot over the stove to add water to large pots for boiling, and the coolest thing, a special cabinet designed for their Kitchenaid mixer that lifted it out of the cabinet to operating level, then stored it back into the under counter cabinet. We all know how heavy those things are!
The homeowner also had a dog: a Newfoundland Mountain dog.
Some of you have seen the puppy version on my other blog. He’s 140 lbs!!! Right after this shot was taken, the owner said “Squirrel!” and, as I was crouched by the back door, I went flying as the dog lunged to get past me.
This was the winning shot for today.
