Day 59

It had just finished raining – a deluge it was! After it passed I headed over to West Seattle today to drop off art for my upcoming show in 29 Palms . There was a nice park with a rock and log covered beach nearby called Lincoln Park, so I headed there to get some images. A few others were walking as well. People with dogs, young puppies leaping at the end of leashes, playing with their owners. It’s also a bird watchers paradise. Today’s birds include: three bald eagles, several seagulls, two large white ducks, grebes, and a few diving birds. I did not have my binos with me. I heard the knock-knock of a wood pecker or it could have been the flicker carving out a new nesting hole. It was a peaceful afternoon.
