Sunset, Winter Solstice
Today was the Winter Solstice and the beginning of Winter. Here in the PNW, the sunrise was at 7:54AM and set at 4:21PM . We’ll be getting 8:26 of daylight daily for the next few days. The sun hung low in the sky and the signs of Winter were all around. Lots of frost in the shadows, on roofs, in ditches and on sidewalks. I was glad for the sun today.
