Studio Session, Hasselblad with Phase1 Back
I friend of mine was desperately in need of Senior photos. His mom said he wanted something different, not the usual cookie cutter senior fare. So we met, having our consultation at the local mall’s food court. There we were, me with my laptop,
and he with his philly steak sandwich. We batted ideas back and forth
(one idea included kissing a dead fish), but nothing was really
clicking. Then, he mentioned photographer Richard Avedon and that he liked that style of photography. He wondered if I like him, too. Of course! I LOVE Avedon.
And so did he. So today was a very cool creative, stripped down photo
session, all about connection and emotion. I was also able to shoot with
a Phase1 digital back. It was my first time. We had loads of fun today!
