Day 295

Fall Self Portrait, Android Phone

As was the case for today’s photo , most of the leaves were on the ground anyway. They peaked last Thursday.
I now live right next to a park, and the crew has been using giant vacuum trucks to suck up the leaves into the back of a large cage.

I thought of what the native peoples in the northeastern part of the US thought of the beauty of fall say 200 hundred years ago. I hear the fall color there is amazing. I’m pretty sure these trees are not native. But The Northwest has it’s own Fall color. More to come.
