Gelato, Monte Carlo Italian Deli, Burbank CA.
I’ve cut back on sugar quite a bit since April, and it’s been quite beneficial. However, I allow myself this one treat each time I visit SoCal – gelato. I get it at my favorite Italian deli – Monte Carlo. When I lived in Burbank, this was the place to get all things Italian: fresh bread, cured meats, cheeses, pasta, olive oil, Italian cookies and cakes. There is usually a line on Saturdays. I have not found anything like this here in the Seattle area.
