The first image is the last image I shot in NYC. It’s Tim Bowles – we are rushing back to JFK to catch our plane to Accra.
The second image is the first one I made in Ghana. The flight was 10.5 hours. In coach. I had an aisle seat next to a young lady named Beauty whose grandmother was a Queen Mother of a village in Ghana. She was coming back with her father to the funeral ceremony. A very big deal.
We arrived at 8AM. Went to the hotel, checked in and flew right out to a roundtable discussion hosted Commission on Human Rights Forum on Torture and the Abolishment of Death Penalty. When we got back to the hotel, we both crashed until 7PM. It was dark by then.
