Mother and Child, at a restaurant. At the networking meeting I attended today, a mom noticed her toddler was bored with eating. So she stood up and ‘entertained’ him. There were dips, snuggles, a peek out the window, more dips and snuggles. The dips were blocked by the table. And I had wonderful window light.

Nat, of the Viking Soul Food Cart, SE Portland For Portlanders, the food cart is a normal option for dinner. However, the lots that they occupy are being bought up by developers, leaving the cart owners having to relocate. Such was the case with this cart (you can see the full menu here – yum!).

Springtime on the Willamette, Portland OR. New leaves on the cottonwoods, backlit by the sun. On the hills beyond, you can see the fresh leaves on the oaks and alders standing in gentle contrast to the evergreens. The days are longer and the clouds spectacular. Springtime in the Pacific Northwest.
