Last Sunday, Eric & I drove down to Portland to visit with Brad. It was a wonderful winter day when we left Seattle, but the on the way there, we hit some slushy rain. I thought we were going to be robbed of a nice day but it worked out just fine.
Portland Art Museum’s sculpture garden has this fabulous sculpture. We walked quite a bit whele we were there, which is what I love about Portland: the have short blocks.
We also made it to Powell’s, the LARGEST BOOKSTORE ON EARTH. I LOVE how that place is organized!
There are more treasures to be found in Portland as well. Which is another reason why I’m glad I live so close to two wonderful cities. Here are a few images from the day.
Since moving up here, Eric and I have been pretty fascinated with dendritic forms. He’s even written a piece about it on his blog.
