As 2010 comes to a close, I thought I’d take some time to think about all that has happened within my little world. And take a look at my To Do list, the one I posted in last December.
Things I DID:
More Travel – lots of it!
More Photography
More Dancing – took lessons this year
More Art
More hiking – two peaks in the Cascades (they were small but mighty)
More Love
And then there were some things that weren’t on the list:
Visited Savannah
Said good bye to a good friend
Meet a new cousin
Went to Yellowstone with Eric
Adopted by a few angels (you know who you are…)
As for the things I didn’t do, there is always next year. I don’t look at it as a FAIL at all. It was an ambitious list and I look forward to giving it a go in 2011.
As with last year, here’s a selection of images I rather fancied from 2010. The subject matter ranges from the Joshua Tree National Park, hot springs in Yellowstone, personal and professional portraits, the famous Eastern Market in Detroit, weddings, fall color, rusty gates in the famous cemetery in Savannah, Sip Washington – it’s pretty diverse.
I also want to thank every one who sat, stood, jumped, kissed, hugged, made faces, or walked their dogs in front of my camera lens. I am truly honored to be entrusted to be a part of your lives and families.
