Our days are full of activity. We run around town meeting dignataries, look at our presentation spaces, invite more people, make more contacts. Then we retreat to the only place with an internet connection: the hotel restaurant/bar. We are usually there for HOURS; me downloading and burning the days’ images, Tim writing his report. There are usually a half dozen other people situated similarly, thier faces bathed in the glow of thier flatscreened companions. Even when the power goes out, no one even moves.
