I have recently been “seeing” my landscapes rather as two -dimensional pieces. More graphic, as in “flat”, than as a scene unfolding before me. Maybe it’s because the subjects I see daily, the water, the leaves, the trees, are so numerous. I see the patterns in the shadow play. This series is more inspired that way.
I played with a couple of the images to see how they would look. I’d LOVE to make some of them into VERY LARGE wall canvases. And I very may well do just that.
