Like so many other couples during this year of the pandemic, Fiona and Houston’s April wedding was canceled and rescheduled. However, they were determined to make the best of it, making the necessary concessions (shrinking the guest list 25), only having immediate and close family in attendance, renting out a gorgeous AirBnB in the Michigan countryside, providing all the necessary safety precautions for the guests. The vendors, many whom they had contracted for the April event, were more than willing to work with them, even if it meant they had to go out of their normal service area. And on the big day, the event was live-streamed to those who couldn’t be there.
This wedding has extra special meaning for me. Fiona is my husband’s middle daughter. I have known her for 21 years, and watched her grow into the beautiful and kind-hearted woman that she is today. She found her perfect match in Houston. We are thrilled for them!
Here is a sneak peek at some of the events of the day. Congratulations to Fiona and Houston!
