Curves and Shadows, Renton WA.
I’m deep into some major projects in my office for the past couple of days. I knew I had to get outside, at least for my walk before dark. The air was thick with the smell of overripe blackberries, the afternoon’s warmth drawing it out of them. Cyclists raced passed me, and joggers pounded by in both directions. The park was full of face-painted kids, running across the grass, and the motor sports crowd were all out, making rooster tails in the water. A summer afternoon in the Northwest.
