Boise-Eliott neighborhood’s 100 year old cherry trees.

When we moved to this area last summer, I discovered that most of the streets were planted with cherry trees. I just knew that in the spring they would bloom. These trees had some of the largest blossom boughs I’d ever seen. And since most fruit trees are grafts (remember your biology class?), some had pink and white blossoms.  They are quite magnificent.
