Crocus
This morning’s walk yielded very little subject matter for a big scene that I hadn’t already covered (cloudy gray skies over the lake…). However, this little Crocus popped up at the corner of a new home construction site. It had managed to escape the earth movers, the paver and the portable toilet.
The crocus, although not a native to the Pacific Northwest, has come to be an icon for me here. It, along with cherry blooms, fall leaves and the evergreens.
