Rachel Rausch Photography respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain English, what information I collect through this website, how I use it, and the choices you have. If you have a question that isn't answered here, email me at rachel@rachelrauschphotography.com.

What I collect

Information you give me. When you fill out a contact form, sign up for my newsletter, or book a call, I collect what you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number and the details of your request.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site and its hosting provider may record basic technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, the pages you view and the general location of your internet connection. This helps me understand how the site is used and keep it secure.

How I use it

I use your information to answer your questions, schedule and plan your session, send your photos and invoices, and, if you've signed up, send you my newsletter. I do not sell your personal information.

Who I share it with

I share information only with the services that help me run my business, and only as much as they need. These include my website host, my online scheduling tool (Calendly), my customer and email marketing tools, my payment processor, and my online gallery provider. Each of these companies has its own privacy policy. I may also share information if the law requires it.

Email newsletter

If you subscribe to my newsletter, Exposure, I'll send you occasional emails with photography tips, news and offers. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.

Your photographs

Images from your session are delivered to you through a private online gallery. I will only use your photographs in my portfolio, on this website or on social media with your permission.

Cookies

This site uses cookies, small files stored in your browser, to make the site work and to understand how visitors use it. Embedded tools, such as scheduling and video, may set their own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as expected.

How long I keep it

I keep your information for as long as I need it to work with you and to meet my business, tax and legal obligations. After that, I delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.

Your choices

You can ask me to show you, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you, or to stop sending you emails. Just email rachel@rachelrauschphotography.com and I'll take care of it.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from them through this site.

Changes to this policy

If I update this policy, I'll post the new version here and change the date at the top.
